1. Do the installs using a User Account with Administrative rights.

2. If you will be installing the Bill James (FanPark) Encyclopedia, install it first, before Baseball for Windows.

A. Do not allow the setup to run automatically when you insert the CD. Instead, list the files on the CD.
B. Right click on setup.exe and choose "Run as Administator".
C. After the install find the file "WinBJEBE.exe" in the directory in which you installed the Encyclopedia. Right click on it, choose "Properties" and click on the Compatibility Tab. Click on "Use Compatibility Mode" and select "Win2000" from the dropdown box. Also check "Run as Administrator" at the bottom of the Tab.
Click on "Apply", then "OK".
3. Install Baseball for Windows.

A. Do not allow the setup to run automatically when you insert the CD. Instead list the files on the CD.
B. Right click on setup.exe and choose "Run as Administator". If you get any messages telling you that a file being installed is older than the existing file, answer "Yes" keep the existing file.
C. After the install find the file "winbb32.exe" in the directory in which you installed Baseball for Windows. Right click on it, choose "Properties", click on the Compatibility Tab. Click on "Use Compatibility Mode" and select "Win2000" from the dropdown box. Also check "Run as Administrator" at the bottom of the Tab. Click on "Apply", then "OK".
D. Repeat step 3C for "windraft.exe", "winlm.exe" and "winstats.exe".
