Bulls Win 11-4, Nab Title

A-Ram hit a two-run bomb in the third to put R-D up for good and Vlad Guerrero's fourth-inning grand slam put the game in the fridge as Raleigh-Durham powered its way past Buffalo 11-4, giving Andrew E. yet another ABA championship. Power was the deciding factor for the Bulls, who blasted four homeruns in the series-clincher against Jeremy Bonderman and the Wing bullpen. Mark Prior was the beneiciary of the power surge in Game Six, going five innings for the win. Congrats to Andrew E. and the R-D Bulls!

Dragons Dig Out of 7-Run Hole, Clinch Title in Five Ahead by 7-0 early, the R-D Bulls had visions of Game VI dancing in their heads. But the underdog Dragons smashed those dreams to pieces, rallying for a 10-8 win to clinch the ABA Finals in five games. Paul Konerko's two-run blast in the fourth knotted the score, and Quinton McCracken's pinch triple drove home the winner in the fifth.
